Claudio is a powerful voice to represent your concerns about increased flights and the associated noise levels. A few things have changed recently; the Luton based Monarch has gone into administration. This might be considered good news, but Easy Jet and Wizz Air are interested in buying the landing slots and increasing departures from Luton.

 

Claudio said "The Airport has created a new Focus Group to enable members to contribute in the Design Principles; I attended a meeting in September when we discussed several issues including what it is that we need as residents and what involvement we will have in the consultation process. It is hoped that the options will be developed by the end of this year.

"I will continue to press for improvement of noise monitoring and have requested a permanent noise monitor so that we can have accurate readings.
